I tried this and almost sent it back because I found it made my knee hurt (I had a previous knee injury). Also, you use your arms and upper body strength to make it work, and until your back, arms, wrists and hands are used to it, it can bother those a bit too. Having said that, I decided to give it another chance and really feel it has benefited my low back, which is my main problem area, and has reduced my pain.There are other devices to look into – most are more expensive and there are pros and cons for all of them. Many people do not get along with the inversion tables, and some should not use them. You can at least lay flat to use this one. It’s nice to have someone release your ankles and remove the device so you don’t have to try to sit up to get your ankles out of it right after stretching your back.
When you’ve suffered with low back pain for years and have tried all the expensive treatments (including surgery), it’s nice to have something you can do for yourself at home.
