I used this trimmer for about 4 times now. Twice to do some 'major crop of bamboo. My last trimmer, a Black & Decker model that has the power, cut the bamboo. The Makita is not only a much more powerful, but it is too low. And 'difficult, but I do not really notice the extra weight if I use it actully.
Overall I am very happy with this trimmer and do not hesitate to recommend him.
